1) When does the fall session start?
Lessons begin the week of Aug 28th.
2) What is the duration of each lesson?
30 or 50 minutes.
3) What do we do in a lesson?
No matter where you are in the creative journey you will always practice your craft. Voice lessons are a combination of vocal technique, music theory, and song study. Acting coachings combine acting theories and methodology with scene and monologue work. Your individual goals will shape our lessons. Want to develop your voice? We’ll focus on technique. Want to expand your repetoire? We’ll focus on music and song selection. A young actor looking for a process? We’ll discuss the classic methods and apply them to monologues and scenes.
4) How much is a lesson or coaching?
JLH Studio works in 4 and 8 week blocks with a lesson occurring each week. Working in blocks (instead of individual lessons) gives us the opportunity to set and strive toward a goal.
